Tournament Rules

Registration

All registrations must be submitted by Dec 15th 2026. Entry cost is to be paid by a "Team Leader".

Please have all listed team members in your reigstration

All players on a team must have their parent or guardian submit the required waiver, which can be found on the header of the website. This waiver is required. Any player who does not have a completed and signed waiver will not be allowed to participate in any games.

Game Guarantee

All registered team are guarenteed three games. If your team does not finish in the top four of the round robin, they will not advance to the championship portion of the tournament.

All age groups receive the same amount of games and same championship format pending total team sign ups.

Equipment + Safety

All players regardless of age group will be required to wear HELMET and GLOVES. Any further protective equipment is to be worn at your discrestion.

Recommended equipment includes - Shin pads, Eblow pads, Shoulder Pads and Hockey pants.

Round Robin Seeding

All teams in an age group will be ranked by points to determine final seeding. ( Win - 3, Tie - 2, Loss - 1). The top four teams with the most points will advance to the respective consilation and championship game.

The following metrics will be the tie breakers (In order)

1. GF

2. GA

3. Rock,Paper,Siccsors

Penalties

Any staff member can award a penalty at any time during a contest. All penalties will be served in the form of a penalty shot. Standard ice hockey penalty shot rules will apply. If a game offical believes a penalty meets the threshold of a game misconduct, A Kinetic Hockey staff member (Chase or Jack) will be called in to determine severity of punishment including a game suspension.
